Environmental education Centre implements «Russian wild lessons» since 2017 as part of the movement “Friends of protected areas”. The project is supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, WWF, Russian Geographical Society and others.

The goal of the project is to arise environmental awareness and attract attention to the values of protected areas in order to preserve natural and cultural heritage and involve the younger generation in the Movement of Friends of protected areas.

We develop interactive lessons about Protected areas and nature conservation. We also support our partners to create their own lessons and publish them in this website.

Who can conduct our lessons?

  2. Protected areas staff
  3. Environmental activists
  4. Volunteers
  5. High school students
  6. All people interested in environmental education

Who is our target audience?

  1. School students of all ages
  2. University and college students
  3. Adults and preschool children (with some adaptation)

The lessons were originally created for offline classes, but they can be also conducted online. For online lessons you can you your conference screenshots in your report.
